Ear Lobe
Undoubtedly the most popular piercing, most people have at least one. Ear piercings heal better when performed with a sterile needle and Ball Captive Ring (BCR) as opposed to an ear piercing gun and a butterfly stud. This is due to the fact that ear piercing guns cannot be adequately sterilised and butterfly clasps are difficult to clean; therefore readily accumulating hair, discharge and bacteria.
Healing time 4-8 weeks.
