Handweb
Everyday manual labour and ease of infection make handweb piercing's difficult to heal and therefore something of a rarity. Use restrictions and a rigorous cleaning routine are required for a successful outcome. The usual location is the flesh between the thumb and index finger. Jewellery is either a curved Barbell or a BCR.

Navel
The Navel piercing is the most popular piercing being done today. Only pronounced 'Innies' are suitable to pierce, 'Outies' should never be pierced.
Placement is 8-10mm above the upper edge of the navel. The BCR or Banana Barbell should hang vertically and seem to disappear into the navel opening.
Even well treated navel piercing will take a minimum of 6 months to heal and can take up to a year.
